It wasn't as good as it should have been, in my opinion. I thought it had a weak third act, although I don't remember much of it now. shifty

Third act as in third part of the movie, or third main character? Your answer may instigate conflict.

Watched Rock n Rolla, it's quite entertaining but pretty similar to Lock, Stock. I would like to see a sequel.

I meant the end of the movie. Matt Damon was alright in this, nowhere near his better performances though. I think True Grit and Invictus are his only two movies which I felt indifferent about. Laughing I usually like his stuff a lot.

It was a bit overly crude at points, but it was still a very good film. (Good William Hunting)

    The Grey with Liam Neeson.

It was fucking stupid. The end killed it for me. Won't go into spoilers unless someone wants to discuss, will check back later.

But until that part, it was enjoyable.. but the end.. the way the movie ended and where he ended up.. was just retarded.

Agreed, Liam Neeson is a boss but that film was garbage.

Red Eye - Seen it before but it was on BBC1 last night, it's a great film. Cillian Murphy is brilliant in it.

Domino - On Film4 the other day, don't think it's as bad as most reviews say. Visually very good but a hard story to follow (especially when you miss half an hour in the middle) shifty

    Good Will Hunting - 8/10

There has been a lot of talk about it on here so I decided to give it a watch. Great performances from Matt Damon and Robin Williams.

I watched Memento last night, well done film considering they show you the end and work backwards. The premise was excellent and executed flawlessly.

Finally saw that film that caused those riots in the 70's.(Walking Proud 1979) I can see how a film that portrays a Mexican gang member(played by a White man of course) who decides to turn his back on his "brothers" and culture for the sake of a White girl might offend someone who lived and experienced the Chicano Movement of the 1970's.

Nowadays it's just a decent old movie, with some over the top acting. Still, things haven't changed THAT much since this film was released so the plot isn't that dated, and minus the whole stereotypical " cute little White lady who came to save us from ourselves" thing it wasn't half bad if you enjoy old films(like I do) Still it's kinda funny to know that the whole "Strong White guy" or "Cute little White girl" showing up to positively change the lives of some "poor stupid colored folk" premise was used back then too.

Loved that movie. One of those movies that are awesome to re-watch because you are like "Oh that's why he did that..." or "Oh now I see why that happened."
