Not sure of the release date, best I could get was the first quarter of this year.

The Witcher 2
Really can't wait for this. Already on PC but I'm waiting for console. Might just get it on PC if it takes too long.

Indeed, I am rather fond of that title.
I'll think of one for you.

My month-old laptop could run it. Not a powerhouse but it has an 1GB graphics card. Tempted to give it a go if they don't announce a release date soon.
This game is a result of typical hard-working Polskis. Polska will be proud.

Hyped for this, sounds so good. With the exams over I need something to sink my fangs into.
Edit- Release date April 17th. That and Game of Thrones, a good month.

Looks good, might get it. What's the combat like?

Haven't played it. Played the first game on PC and I loved it, was point and click generally with Dragon Age elements. No idea what this is like, but I've heard great things. I'll guarantee you'll like it.

When I saw this thread and who made it I immediately thought it should be called The Bitcher 2, then I saw I had already said it...

3 discs. That's La Noire standard. And Rage.
Edit- 2 actually. The other is the soundtrack.

Just an hour into it, has potential to be one of those unique, unforgettable games. Combat system has elements of assassins creed to it, especially the riposte. 18 rating, so it's not going to be streamlined and easy.
My name is mentioned throughout, a bonus if anything.

Will probably buy this next week, I just hope it's not a short game.

Re: The Witcher 2
Is this one of those games where every character has a British accent besides the main, who for some reason is American?

Great visuals, they've really put some effort into this, that's how the first game got its reputation.

I feel like Kyro in the Tennis thread.
But this game has everything, so far. Combat is a little stiff, but that should improve once I unlock the combat slot.

Re: The Witcher 2
Finished it. Quite quickly retrospectively, but I'll still give it a 10/10. Great plot, plenty of life-altering choices, great dialogue, combat and so on. Can't wait for the next game.
This is my favourite scene. It's near the end of the prologue, so it is a big spoiler, but you probably would see it coming anyway. But still, breathtaking.

This game is so awesome, not sure why I waited so long to play it after I brought it.
The combat system is amazing and story is great so far.

I fail so hard at this game, failed 2 quests already and I'm still only on Act 1.
