Well, neither team looked like scoring there really. Our last ditch defence and blocking was good but the link between midfield and defence was poor and midfield was pretty dire. Not too fussed really, kept it respectable and we were hardly expected to do anything especially with quite a few players out.


Didn't like Henry's little kick at white near the end though.

Not really concerned. We had all the possession and had we had a more lethal striker than Chamakh, we might have scored a couple. Defence wasn't threatened at all and our midfield controlled the match perfectly. Not a fantastic performance, but nothing worrying either.

Your midfield had nothing to control cause ours was so poor. Vayrynen has done the square root of fuck all for us so far. If we could just have had howson and Snoddy instead of Vayrynen and Nunez it could have been a much better performance. Oh well, we've had a crack twice now hopefully we get a fucking break next year and don't draw another top team in both cups!

Then when he bashed Henry who didn't like someone upstaging him so he had a little kick/trip.

Still love Henry but I hated him then because of how inevitable it was.

If Henry can keep this scoring record up he will bag 20 goals before the end of Feb.

Concerned about what? A win is a win regardless of how it looks. Typically in years passed these are the kinds of matches we normally capitulate, where as lately we have been pulling them out.

Yeah the match was a bit of a let down but I just want to see his goal and celebration again.

I still have Arsenal vs Barca in my planner, I always watch it if we lose on the weekend.
