41 years today
On January 2nd 1971, 80,000 fans attended a Glasgow derby at Ibrox Stadium. 66 Rangers fans never came home. Sometimes football and who you follow doesn't matter a jot. For the 66 who died, rest in peace.

Not something you say in a thread when people are paying their respects, completely disrespectful. He could have googled it if he had to.

It's like walking into a funeral and saying "never even heard of this guy?".
Please refrain from creating an argument, this is for respecting the 66.

Calling them ordinary people is a bit of a slap in the face.

He said he hadn't heard of it, you're acting as if he said something actually disrespectful towards the people involved.Jelavic9|RFC wrote:Steadman wrote:

Jela, they're hardly being disrespectful by saying they weren't aware of this tragedy.

Jela, I would've thought that people who have a place in their heart for these people would want to educate those who don't know about it.
If you did not react negatively to it, then the thread wouldn't have derailed.
