Liverpool fans complained about Hodgson and hoof ball?

Fulham played from the back alot and watching West Brom, they play out from the back too. What happened at Liverpool? Was Carragher getting too involved and trying to take charge?

Serious question this, I'm a little confused.

West Brom are doing well, and with pacey forwards it's not surprising that they play counter attacking football.

Even when they can't counter attack they pass out slowly rather than hoofing it upfield.

Dinosaur tactics, brought in shit players, didn't utilise players properly. Awful man-management for a supposed man-manager. Talked a load of shite in the press as well.

Disaster.

He had everyone playing it. Carragher's always done it, but when the likes of Agger are playing it long, you know you've been told to.

It's why Torres was so shit as well.

I don't understand why he changed from his Fulham days then, and the job after Liverpool reverted to the way he played at Fulham. Must hate Scousers.

Should have taken Martinez from Wigan. Can't wait till he finally moves to a big club, wish he went to Villa to be honest.

When he was at Fulham, they did play quite a lot of hoof ball actually. Lobbing it over the top for Bobby Zamora. Then he came here and tried the same tactics, which didn't work. Moved on, and probably at that point, realised that hoof ball was tarnishing his reputation, and changed up his style with West Brom.

He actually didn't, especially at home. Away from home they played a little more direct (away at Hamburg).
