It is basically blackmailing but they should punish Sion, hate them and their fucking chairman.
Having a Swiss team in the round of 16 of the CL is great for Swiss football, please give in to their demands and all will be fine.

I think they should fight this all the way to COAFS, or the ECJ or ECHR if necessary. If Basel get thrown out of the CL then that's just unfortunate, what's important is that Sion get justice.

They've broken UEFA's rules, and they've refused to accept their punishment. What justice do they deserve?

I don't really know, but in any case, they can't allow FIFA to ride roughshod over them. This is unacceptable blackmail, and I will support them in their fight. If FIFA want to ban Swiss teams from international competitions then so be it.

It's a bit late for reinstatement, and all they're doing is hurting Basel, which is very selfish of them.

Yes, they bravely stood up to UEFA, and now they're bravely standing up to FIFA. The Swiss FA should do the same, rather than letting one of its clubs be urinated on by FIFA because they're not quite as big as Basel.
