Fabianski only had a few saves to make, and tbh whilst Silva's save made him look good if he missed it people would've said he sucked (that's just how easily goalkeepers get praised or thrashed).

Fabianski made a cracking save from Silva and was consistant throughout the game.

That's because in his entire Arsenal career he's always been at his worst. Until these last couple matches and mainly today he has been terrible and shaky.

He had a good game and a good shot stopper but his positioning is still shite.

If he puts up a few more solid performances, I'll be convinced.

He'll need to put in more than a few to change my opinion on him.

You only require a few more? He's been terrible for so long that it would take an entire half a season at MINIMUM for me to be convinced he is decent quality. At this point I still prefer a healthy Almunia without a doubt, but Fabi had a great game today.

Fabianski has done more than enough for me to beleive Wenger that he is actually a quality keeper in training.

Ah okay. Well I have never thought he was a complete flop like say Rami Shaaban, but up to this point he has been pure shit 85% of the time.

If he can go like this for 10-15 more PL games he will have proved to be a suitable back up to Almunia in my opinion, or at least until Almunia fucks up again which would be sooner or later. So far Manuel hasn't been bad this season when healthy.

If he can go like this for 10-15 more games he would be far past Almunia tbh. Almunia does something jokes almost every game.

Doing it for 10-15 games wouldn't get him passed Almunia in my opinion because Almunia still has the valuable experience over him and 10-15 matches just means he has caught fire and is enjoying good form.

Almunia does make mistakes, but this season he has been quality.
