Re: David Villa breaks leg
I heard it was a shin-bone break, doubt it will be 6 months if that is the case.

oh no... I wish him a good recovery, really sad about this... but now it looks like we'll need to buy a striker in January...

Considering Villa has been playing left wing... I doubt it.

Re: David Villa breaks leg
Fell sorry for him. I don't think Barca need to buy anyone to replace him though.
EDIT: Actually, Afellay is still out so I take that back.

Doesn't look as bad as a leg break. He'll be out for a few months though.

I don't see the issue... The goals come from Messi mostly, and you still have Pedro and Sanchez?

50 million or its not a deal, and did Carroll play against Arsenal the last time Arsenal and Liverpool met.

The revelance is that, his team won and did he Carroll not score the winner for Newcastle against Arsenal. Does not say much for your team does it? and Liverpool only except 50 million for dud strikers in january.

Re: David Villa breaks leg
My mate (who quite frankly is usually a bit clueless about football) seems to think that his courier is over because he's too old to recover and go back to how he was.
I'm not so sure, he's only just turned 30 like a week or two ago, I think he's still got time to make a comeback.
What do you guys think?

I think we would have to find out the full extent of the injury, before writing his courier off just yet.Zzonked wrote:My mate (who quite frankly is usually a bit clueless about football) seems to think that his courier is over because he's too old to recover and go back to how he was.

I don't see any reason to write his career off.Zzonked wrote:My mate (who quite frankly is usually a bit clueless about football) seems to think that his courier is over because he's too old to recover and go back to how he was.
