For the same reason I helped her for two weeks, to make something easier or to help. It was 30p, she made me do countless time wasting things for two weeks to help her settle in (bearing in mind I was also new) when I had no obligation, she wasn't a teacher of mine, nothing. She knew it would save me quite a lot of money. And, I would give them 30p, if they were to do something for me in return. I do also help this one homeless guy who my family know.
