rvp as good as ronaldo (07-08) and drogba(09-10)

gary pallister say today that rvp is currently form is good and influential and important to arsenal as ronaldo and drogba was in their teams in the past

i think so. but i think man u were still good without ronaldo, chelsea was useless without drogba, and i dont know about arsenal and rvp i need expert like FI or grenade to speak on this subject

I think Without Ronaldo in 07/08 we wouldn't of won the CL, so he was important and I do think without RvP Arsenal are not the same team.

probably but i think even without him man u had very strong side. rvp hasnt had a serious injury for a little while so my memory escapes me of last time arsenal was ineffective without him and chelsea well, whenever he was injury or didnt play in that season chelsea were awful, as an attacking threat anyway

Van Persie has put Arsenal on his back and carried them throughout this season after all the other top class players there bar Szczezny have either jumped ship or suffered serious injuries. We'll see in May really, it's too early to judge him, those guys were phenomenal throughout the whole season, including at the end of it, where VP normally crumbles like so many apples.

Well RVP has apparently 2 shit players on the wings supporting him; Theo and Gervinho, Arteta and Ramsey 2 shit midfielders behind him and Song. Thats going by people on this forum anyway.. how he scores so much must be fluke.

If he keeps his form up the whole season maybe he will but he is more influential than they are simply because of the dire quality we have without him:
United - Rooney, Tevez, Nani, Giggs, Saha could all be used if Ronaldo wasn't available although I can't recall Ronaldo missing many games that season
Chelsea - When Drogba was at ACON Anelka stepped in and scored in every game while Drogba was away they even smashed Sunderland 7 - 3 Now lets look at Arsenal:

Not while RVP is fit. I think Wenger had belief that Chamakh could do well as backup but will give up on him and let Park have a chance. Park has alot of good qualities to his game and is a good finisher from what i've seen.

sure VP is the best player there by alot but without good service he is nothing. put VP in Wigan and see how many he scores

Without RVP Arsenal would be shit. When he got his last big injury we had other top class players like Cesc and Nasri who kept the side going. The current team relies upon RVP too much like FL said, look at who played for Chelsea when Drogba was out, or Ronaldo. For Arsenal its Park and Chamakh . Both are not good enough to fill his shoes.

He is Arsenals captain and more important to Arsenal than Drogba was to Chelsea and CR to Utd.
