Is Cristiano Ronaldo the 2nd best player in the world?

Both players have shown during countless classicos and a number of big CL and International matches that they can do in the biggest of matches. So who, in your opinion is the 2nd best player in the world? Messi is unarguably the best so leave him out of this please.

Im unsure on how I should put the poll, because Id imagine Ronaldo would benefit from having 2 similar players in competition. Any ideas on how to make it better would help

If this was from any other fan, I would consider it. But NOT from some glory hunting Barca fan.

You are such a Messi hater. This thread has nothing to do with him. You are also forgetting the fact that Messi has done so much better in El Clasico matches than Ronaldo can ever dream of.

No, it's not the only thing to take into account. I'm interested in knowing your reasoning behind your opinion that Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now. But you are the one who stated that Messi was basically invisible during the match. I was simply stating an observation about Ronaldo's freekick abilities. His freekicks are overrated when most of the time it just seems to hit the wall.
