.....We got destroyed in the second leg but that's not the point.

That's completely irrelevant to what I stated.

You honestly make no sense, you're bringing the past up to defend your team, you may have done better the past few years, except last season. But in the end you didn't win shit and I can't see the reason why you even brought this up.

Arsenal and Chelsea have no chance of the CL.
Still I'd honestly rather finish in the last 16 of the CL than win the Europa league.

Not a great night for any english fan.

I'm sure our coefficient will take a hit because of this.

It doesn't really matter, it's not like England will lose its 4 places.

Don't know why any of you should be ashamed to be in the Europa when you're not good enough for the Champions League. I think it's a beautiful thing to see clubs who spend around £100M a transfer window, are showered in television money, get put out of the Champions League or beaten by teams like Basel in the Swiss league who have to work with a tiny fraction of the money the other teams are dealing with.

The performance of English teams has deteriorated rapidly since the 08/09 season. Then we began our descent and slowly others have followed. Sad story, really.

It's not really sad. I love it.

The fans of English Premiership clubs were laughing at Celtic for getting beat by Sion, who aren't far behind Basel.

Celtic get something like £2M A YEAR from Sky
Manchester United get something like £60M, On average Premiership clubs get twice as much as Celtic get in a season FOR PLAYING ONE GAME showed on television, about £4M a game

And they have the cheek to laugh at us.

Now for Chelsea and Arsenal to go out.
