    the potential to be the best over the next few years?


    I've always rated him since he played half the games for Newcastle in their Championship season, and now he's starting get deserved praise for his performances.

    I think he's broken into the Holland squad, but i'm not sure if he's been capped yet. He'll be Holland's number 1 at the Euro's though in my opinion. And if he isn't, then Holland are stupid.

    Always thought he was a decent keeper, I remember seeing him play in UEFA Cup years ago and he was class.

    There are a few better keepers in the Premier League than him.

    Got potential to be right up there among the best. I personally think he's going through a purple patch atm.

    Got a few issues to sort out, but improved dramatically the past year. Think he will probably get the number one for Holland after the Euros.

    Already been capped a few times, got Man of the Match when they drew 0-0 with Brazil I believe.

    I would love him as the long-term keeper at Spurs once Brad goes. Bring in Krul in the summer and next season he can learn from one of the best in the Prem. Or buy him in Jan and loan him back to Newcastle for the rest of the season so he can continue getting 1st team football.

    I wouldn't go so far as to say this yet. He's had an excellent start to the season, although he has to prove that he can consistently play at the top of his game, especially if he does have ambitions of being the Holland number 1.

    Netherlands have luxury problem with him in the squad that is true, but he is not the best, i think it will come down to form for Euro 2012, Roma have been shaky but i doubt its due to Stekelenburg.

    Right now there is alot of very good keepers in the league.

    There is so many that its hard to pick a top 3.

    I would say Hart is the standout best right now though.

    One of the best this season that's for sure. If I had to rank them I'd say he's been the second best goalkeeper in the league, behind Joe Hart.
