Goalkeeper Khaled Askri of Moroccan side of FAR Rabat stormed out of the pitch after making a dreadful blunder in a league game against KAC Kenitra on Saturday.
He collected a chested back pass from a teammate but tried to evade challenger Hicham El Aroui rather than clearing the danger, allowing his opponent to steal the ball and slot into an empty net.
Earlier this month, Askri committed an astonishing error during the penalty shootout of a Moroccan cup game between Rabat and MAS Fes.
He thought he had saved a crucial spot kick after pushing the ball away before saluting Rabat fans in ecstasy.
However, the ball spun back and rolled over the line and into the empty net to stun the crowd.
In Saturday's match against Kenitra, Askri couldn't bear making another fatal mistake.
He lifted off his shirt and stormed off the pitch despite the attempts of his teammates to convince him to carry on.
A group of FAR Rabat supporters posted a letter on their website to support the under-fire Askri.
