If anyone's capable of hurting Barcelona, it's not gonna be a side outside of Europe.
Barca have got this. Might as well give them the trophy.

Re: 2011 Club World Cup
I really think Neymar needs to get out of Brazil. He's getting complacent. Needs better opposition to test himself against. I know he thinks staying with Santos is the best way to prepare for the WC, but judging from the way he plays and how he's a little too protected in brazil (certain fouls wouldn't even be called fouls in England, Spain, Germany or Italy), I don't see it :/
Edit:
Meh, Santos went out and grabbed the goals and look pretty uninterested in working any harder than they have to.

barcelona is the favorite but it does not mean its going to be easy
all finals were very hard - except the last one with mazembe
barcelona struggled in 2006 and 2009

or not
out of barcelona and real madrid i cant see a team really superior than santos in europe
the rest santos could beat at least 5 out of 10 matches

1. Because Barca didn't care...
2. Really? You think Santos is the third best team in the world? Really?

I am not saying they are a bad team. Not at all. They would easily qualify for the knockout stages in the champions league (given the right group). I just don't see them being the third best team in the world. I personally would consider Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Ac Milan, Juventus and Manchester City as generally better teams. With a handful of others being "argueable".

I did, barca didn't put in the effort I expected at all. I don't doubt that Santos will provide a decent challenge for 20 minutes or so, but I don't see them being able to significantly hurt Barcelona.
And nope, Santos would not lose to Basel. No arguement there.

in 2006 they thought would be easy but it wasnt at all
in 2009 they were smarter but estudiantes till last minutes almost get the trophy

2006 they were arrogant. In 2009 they put out a much stronger team but were clearly not expecting Estudiantes to be as good as they were. I highly doubt that they are going to be underestimating Santos after all the build up. In addition I would say that Barca is a better team today than it was in 2009.
Edit:
Santos doing "just enough" to go through. Will be interesting to see them at full throttle against Barcelona.

1st half was o.k. but the 2nd was a complete joke. I don't know what Muricy was thinking about. The team better improve drastically for Saturday. Anything else and they might as well pack their bags now.

I think they just didn't want to do more than necessary. It sure looked like it. They had two sublime goals, then they just relaxed until the japanese scored, at which point they had a few minutes with good football to add another goal, then just releaxed again.
Did "just enough". No more, no less.

no doubt santos will need to play at full throttle to try to get the trophy
estudiantes played very well (at 100%) in first half pressing and marking a lot
but they got tired in second half and hold till last minutes a partial victory
if santos play like estudiantes but during whole match they have a chance
