Pretty amazing how they scored as the 11 minutes ended.

There's one on YouTube where a lad films pretty much the whole 11 minutes then you see everyone go mad as we score right at the end. So fitting.

Very classy thing to do and an entire 11 minute tribute that was beautiful.

Is there something special about 11 minutes that I am missing?
Because otherwise, 11 minutes is nothing. (not to take away from the tribute just a bit surprising a big deal is being made out of the length.)

The chant started on the 11th minute (11 being his shirt number) and lasted for 11 minutes.polska. wrote:Is there something special about 11 minutes that I am missing?

Hate to put a downer on things, but the silly Leeds fans couldn't count properly and they started this on the 9th minute. They did sing for the 11 minutes though and it was fitting that they scored at the end (on 20 minutes). However, it was fantastic. Doubt I'll ever see anything like that from away fans at the City Ground any time soon. I had goosebumps throughout.
I don't think our fans should have let them do it though. We should have oversang them. It was like a home game for Leeds that night, they'll never have an easier game away from Elland Road. Fans, players and management pretty much stepped aside and let Leeds have their night. I'd be disgusted if we ever let that happen again.

Well I thiunk thoa tribute was a spur of the moment thing with no practice which is most likely was the reason the timing was off. I am fairly sure with a little bit of practice they would have got that little detail correct.

Love or hate Leeds, they deserve a lot of credit for doing this.
