Over here in the States I am sure we all watched the game live on Fox Soccer Channel but the game is now being showed via delay on the main FOX channel. This is huge for the game here as the sport goes up in importance. Finally people with only broadcast TV can see these games on a more regular basis although not live. The sport can become number one sometime in the near future.

Indeed it was a great game. I suspect much of the TV audience are people giving football (soccer here) a first try along with a few who are big fans but cannot afford the Fox Soccer Channel. I think this would make a great first game for someone new to the sport. Hopefully three goals is enough for these people but all the other American sports still have way more scoring than this game.
