Read the Darren Shan books. I feel like a broken record, but they are really good and quite easy to read

The books I read are terrible, probably why I give up. Recommend any?

What sort of books have you read that have been terrible, maybe I could recommend some that are different to that?

I read A Song of Ice and Fire, I enjoyed that. It is the novel that the show Game Of Thrones it based on.

Ones I have read but have not enjoyed are The Evolution of Bruno Littlemore, Swamplandia! and a few other novels.

I dont know, the books I like are probably ones you wouldn't be interested in, I seem to like books with not much plot but that focus alot on how the protagonist sees the world. Catcher in the Rye, Great Gatsby, that sort of thing

I read Catcher In The Rye about 4 years ago, I thought it was alright although I wasn't blown away by it. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more had I not studied it in school and just read it myself. It's a struggle to enjoy something when you have a few dicks in the class not playing ball.

Hardly really. If I read something good then I'll acknowledge it but my knowledge is hardly vast. I'm not really sure on something similar to those. I'm reading Crime and Punishment now (a Russian novel) and the protagonist's view on everything around him is central to plot. I haven't finished it though so I wouldn't go as far as recommending it but maybe you should check it out if you want.
