    FC Barcelona "B" Season Review

FC Barcelona "B" finished the season in 18th place in the Liga Adelante. They survived the relegation drop by three points. Rodri was the top scorer for the team as he managed to find the net 10 times throughout the season. Jonathan dos Santos managed 10 assists to his teammates. Young promising striker, Paco Alcacer, got the highest average rating with a rating of 7.20. The team is looking to offload several of their players as their contracts run out without any renewals. In addition, some players from the U19 academy will be promoted to the "B" squad.

    FC Barcelona U19 Season Review

The U19 squad had one of, if not the best, seasons of their history. Many promising stars of the future came together to gift the U19 squad yet another league title. The squad finished the season after 38 matches with 108 points, an astonishing 25 points ahead of second place, Girona. The squad also managed to score 138 goals and concede only 27 goals. They managed to reamin undefeated throughout the season and only draw three times. Promising Italian, Roberto Fava, was the top scorer of the team as he found the net 37 times. Not only was he crucial infront of goal, but he managed to assist more than anyone else with 22 assists. It's no surprise that the Italian was the best performer of the team, managing a 7.73 average rating. The 16 year old, who joined Barcelona from Parma this season for £2.9M, still has some years in the academy, but he could be promoted early with such promising performances. Other notable prospects include Albert, Jean Marie Dongou, Ateya Sayed, Oscar, Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Sandro, and Wycliff Manirakiza.

The following FC Barcelona players have been called up for international duty with their respective World Cup squads...

Spain: Pique, Busquets, Villa, Valdes, Bojan, Iniesta, Xavi, Fabregas, Barta.
    Argentina: Messi, Mascherano, Aguero
    Brazil: Neymar, Alves
    England: Robinson, Jones
    Chile: Sanchez
    Mexico: dos Santos
    -------------------------

Pedro was left out because of his injuries that kept him out for half the season. I'm surprised Thiago wasn't called up. The surprise inclusion was Barta.

Messi got injured in Argentina's last group match and will be out for around a month, ruling him out of the tournament. Neutral

    Final: Brazil 0-2 Germany
    Third: Argentina 4-2 Spain

If Messi was playing, I think Argentina would have went to the final.

I signed Puyol as a coach. He could possibly fill in my recently vacant Youth Team Coach spot and manage the U19s.

Barcelona win their third consecutive Spanish Super Cup after beating Real Madrid 2-0 on aggregate. Eric Abidal, who replaced Jack Robinson in the 86th minute of the second leg, became the oldest player to ever play in a Spanish Super Cup match.

Barca needed extra time to claim their second consecutive UEFA Super Cup title. Former Barca player, Chygrynski, put the ball into his own net following an Aguero cross. On the other end, Valdes fumbled a hard shot from Fernandinho to give Inter the equalizer. It was Fabregas who made the difference in the 110th minute following a cross from 18 year old defender, Alvaro Sanchez.

The UEFA Champions League draw took place. Barcelona have been given a slightly tough group. The will face AC Milan, PSG, and SK Strum Graz.

Barcelona had the best start of the season under manager, Ahmed. After claiming the Spanish Super Cup and the UEFA Super Cup, Barca started the league behind to Deportivo, but managed to claim a comeback victory. The next games featured 5-1, 6-1, and 6-0 victories over Sporting, Gimnastic, and Sociedad respectively. Barca managed a victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu to go top of the table. Barca continued their fine form by claiming victories over Sevilla, Granada, Villarreal, Valencia, and an 8-0 victory over Mallorca. Barca sit top of the table with 30 points after 10 matches, 3 points ahead of Real Madrid.

In the Champions League, Barca kicked off against the weakest team in the group, SK Sturm Graz. They found themselves down a goal, but managed to claim a 2-1 comeback. The next match against PSG was more of the same as Messi scored a last minute penalty to give Barca the three points. Barca went top of the group by claiming an exciting 5-2 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro.

Barca maintained their great form through the month of November. In La Liga, Barca claimed 3-0, 1-0, and 3-1 victories over Valencia, Malaga, and Athletic Bilbao respectively. However, Barca dropped their first points in the league when they came back from behind to draw with Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon. Barca sit top of the table with 37 points after 13 matches, 5 points ahead of Real Madrid.

In the Champions League, Barca destroyed AC Milan 5-1 at the Camp Nou to secure qualification to the next round. A second string side could only see a goalless draw against bottom of the group SK Sturm Graz.

Barca kicked off their Copa del Rey title defense with a 6-1 aggregate victory over lower league club, Villanovense. Barca will have a much tougher challenge in the next round when they face Atletico Madrid.

Barca continued their great run in the last month of the year. Barca smashed Real Betis and Racing Santander 4-0 and 6-0 respectively before edging Espanyol 2-1 in the Catalan Derby. Barca sit at the top of the league table in the new year with 46 points after 16 matches and a match in hand, 2 points above Real Madrid.

In the Champions League, a second string Barca beat PSG 3-2 and ended up top of the group. They were drawn with Udinese in the Round of 16.

Barca successfully defended their FIFA Club World Cup title after beating Zamalek 1-0 in the semifinals and 2-0 in the final against Boca Juniors.

Neymar claimed both the World Player of the Year and World Golden Ball awards. Aguero came second in both awards, while Messi claimed third in the World Golden Ball award. Pato occupied third in the World Player of the Year award. In the World XI, Barca had Dani Alves, Pique, Aguero, and Neymar in the starting lineup while Messi and Sanchez featured in the subs.

On last years FM. I bought an Egyptian with very high PA. Paid a decent amount for him. He flopped, and even sold him at a profit.

Then he scores in every game he played for in Seria A. Neutral

The draws in this game are fucking stupid. In the African Cup of Nations, Egypt and Morocco were in the same group. They both qualified to the next round and were drawn against each other. First of all, there is no draw past the group stage in the African Cup of Nations. Second, teams that just played each other in the group, shouldn't face each other in the next round. facepalm
