Barca lay down a marker in the Super Cup

Barcelona were fantastic in their first two games under their new manager, winning the Super Cup in superb fashion. Real Madrid were silenced at the Bernabeu as Barcelona equalled their biggest ever win there, running out 5-0 winners. A brace from Pique and a goal from Adriano put Barcelona in control, and David Villa came on as a substitute to score a brace of his own in the first leg. Barcelona won the return leg 3-0 through a brace from Messi and a scorcher from David Villa to win the cup 8-0 on aggregate.

So it'll probably only be a couple of you reading this, so would you prefer I do it like I did in my Man Utd and Liverpool threads with monthly updates (1 or 2 pages back), or would you rather I do it like ahly and post every result?

Barca Romp to Euro Super Cup

Barcelona showcased their brilliance again, routing Porto 4-0. Villa opened the scoring for the Spaniards, and Iniesta doubled the lead, beating Helton at his near post. Thiago finished into an empty net, and Messi completed the victory with a late penalty. Barcelona are yet to concede a goal under their new manager.

TBH it should just depend on you.... I rather read a monthly update as it gives a better understanding of a save rather than game by game, Also i think monthly would be less work shifty

August/September Update

Barcelona are yet to drop points in all competitions under their new manager. Barca glided past Villarreal and Real Sociedad in the league and Zenit in the Champions League, with Villa being their main goal threat. Messi then hit form, scoring braces in a big win over Osasuna and a vital one over Atlético Madrid. Gerard Piqué hit an unlikely hat trick in the Osasuna game. Messi also hit hat tricks in big victories over Valencia and at Otelul in the Champions League. Barcelona ended the month a point behind Real Madrid, but with a game in hand.
