Taliban in ‘200-man UK attack at Christmas’

Commander Javed Karmazkhel Wazir — of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan — claimed 200 suicide bombers and assassins are ready to launch attacks.

He said: "We have prepared squads of holy warriors who will target people and government facilities in London and other big cities of the UK."

And he said their recruits looked "liberal", adding: "You will not see bearded men or veiled women doing this."

The TTP are furious at US President Barack Obama's recent success in overseeing the death of Osama Bin Laden. And the TTP now has a hitlist of its own — believed to include Obama himself.

The TTP claimed responsibility for a 2009 suicide attack on the CIA and the attempted Times Square bombing in 2010.

It would be the responsibility of Muslim terrorists. If they know that attacking the West will result in the destruction of Mecca then they would hardly be likely to attack the West, would they?

Then you are deluded. Terrorism is already frowned upon by Muslims. It's not easy to stop these terrorist cell organizations. It took over 10 years for the US to finally kill Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban/Al Qaeda is still running.

Your logic is the same of Al Qaeda's. Osama and company thought it would send out a message to the American people if they attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. It would cause people to be so outraged that they would demand the government to stop meddling around in the Middle East. Look how that logic failed? All it caused was 2 wars and more meddling in the Middle East.

We've been kicking arse in the middle east ever since, and there have hardly been any terrorist attacks on the west since.
