If you had to play for your rivals to become a Pro footballer would you?

Like me at the moment, I play for Southend and I support Colchester, and to be honest I hate it, but I have to do whats best.

I know it might sound silly, but no, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. At Morton vs St Mirren matches, I have joined in with the other Morton fans were condemned the likes of Van Zanten and McGowan, who were both former Morton players but then eventually moved to St Mirren.

I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it. I'd just feel like such an awful, lying hypocrite if I did.

If it were Chelsea or Man United, I'd jump on the chance.

    This.

The first chance I get at a better club I am out of there though. (So long I think it'd be beneficial for my career)

Yes Bristol City are in a higher league which would be better for my career than playing for Rovers, hypothetically obviously.

Of course you would if you wanted to be a professional footballer.

I remember my mate, who is an Ipswich fan, saying if he played for Ipswich he would never leave them, no matter what the circumstances. Even if he had offers from the biggest and best clubs in the world. Would you play for your Rivals? 58503

    Yes,even Tottenham Neutral

You'd be stupid not to tbh even if that meant you'd never get to play for the team you support.

Or you could just do a Sol Campbell and take the abuse on the chin.

    Sol not worthy

That is stupid. If I played for Bristol Rovers and Barcelona was like we want you I'd go without even having to think about it. It doesn't make you any less of a fan if you do leave them it's life.

Look at Scott Sinclair he was a Bath City fan but moved to us (considered a rival) and now look at him. If it betters your career it shouldn't matter who the team is.

Actually I think I wouldn't stay at one club for too long. I would want to play in various different leagues, for different clubs. I am not a money grabber and wouldn't even demand a large wage, unless I signed for a club owned by billionaires like Man City or PSG.

When I am 28 or 29, I would go (back?)to Wisla Krakow and try to spend my later years getting Wisla far in Europe, until eventually sliding into a post-playing career at Wisla.

He isn't a moron loads of people like to believe they are the ultimate fan and would never leave the club if they played for them, I'm sure if he was put in the postion it would be a different answer.
