Yes. You grew up in the Basque Land, and even more importantly, you would've learned your football at Bilbao/other Basque club.Mustangt125 wrote:So if I am born in America but my family moves to Spain's Basque region when I am like 5 and I grow up there, can I sign for Bilbao?

They do play a fairly English style even on the pitch I think, well a fusion between traditional English and traditional Spanish styles. It's interesting.

But any player that was born in the Basque region or was part of their youth club can sign for the team. So it's not racist at all. Plus, it's just keeping up with tradition.

Sure, but racism is thrown around so much today that no one even knows what it means.
If not racism, it's sexism, ageism, heightism, youdon'tletmedowhatiwantsoisueyouism........
I'm not against the idea, it's something to be proud of and makes it more of a community club.....but it would never work in the UK.

Who's to say it's not?
Everyones allowed to do cheese rolling... a traditional idea that incorporates everyone
If Arsenal only signed people from London we'd have
Frimpong, Wilshere, Ashley Cole, Lampard ect
Nothing racist there
