I think I'm going to deposit the togepi you get from the egg in HG. I somehow like Pidgeot better than Togekiss and they're similar of types. Only difference is that Togekiss is way stronger and has a high special attack base and Pidgeot is more attack-based. Pidgeot has so much more charisma, though. I love that bird.

Should've been more clear. I didn't mean normal-typed Pokemon, but Pokemon most people wouldn't give much attention to, i.e. Pidgey and Sandshrew.

Where did you get that avatar from, btw?

deviantart.com just google the site, lot of art.

no. not since 1997 Pokemon Blue/Red lol.

i'm just going to go back on the PokeWalker and hopefully get another one with a good nature.. then if it fails, i'll go straight to the Chansey breeding with ditto.

Is Chansey/Blissey even a good idea to use in the story? or would it be such a pain to level up and keep alive?

i've noticed already, that having a party of 5-6 kind of sucks.. always trying to keep them all leveled at a respectable level to fight mons around them. really slows you down.

Blissey can be a great tank if you have the right moveset. I'd have either Blissey or a Snorlax.

I always go with a balanced team. I find it more fun than just using two or three Pokemon.

Never rated Blissey in-game. Crappy offensive stats and no strong attacks, it'll have a hard time killing something else. There's no real need of a tank while playing through the story, unless you're going to use it as a status inflictor.

I see a slight problem Phadunkin. Your team seems a litte unbalanced at the moment. You have two Normal types and 2 flying types(when togepi evolves). You also have only two real elemental types in Elekid and Cyndaquil. Are you not going for any Rock/Water/Dragon types...

I agree about Pokemon like Blissey in the story mode.. since in-game it's all about killing hard and fast. But I feel like , like yourself, doing something a little different than a typical run through.

Hey.. Soft-Boiled and Heal Bell would be awesome to have around throughout the game. Your own personal medic. [fuck drugs]

You'll never find another fire pokemon good enough to start until Houndoom so get Cyndaquil.

Basically the only reason I pick Cyndaquil. Practically the only fire in the game.

I remember when I was younger there was this software where you would play pokemon competitively against other people online. You'd make your own team with your own movesets, EVs, everything, join servers and challenge people. The site Smogon started off as just a server on that program.

Would be neat to find it again.
