Re: Official Rugby League Thread
Wouldn't make that much of a difference Zzonked due to him not talking to rugby union clubs for 3 years but if he did play i hope he puts on a blinder and shows how much better rugby league players are then union.

I know, I just don't want him anywhere near that game.

Terrible news. I remember his debut, one of my favorite players.

I know, it looks like some sort of dogey chocolate bar.
I'll probably get Leuluai on my shirt this year to remember him.

The home kits nice but i don't get what you are going for with the away kit and we still haven't heard anything from the club about whats going on now.

I think overall the kits are better than last year with the weird gradient and the wonky W. I only buy home kits these days anyway.
Do you mean that Salford haven't released the kits yet?

We haven't announced anything in general apart from briefly saying Parrish has left and we are in a better state before he came we don't even have a training kit the players have had to wash last years.

Cheers man.
Seems like Salford are in a bit of a mess at the moment. It looked like you were getting things together for a bit, too.
Magic Weekend is moving to Etihad, I'm about 5x more likely to go now.

Re: Official Rugby League Thread
Someone put on the Salford forum about the magic weekend.
Now what a perfect chance to get the City owners to take an interest , local club in need of investment, with a huge catchment area, bright Shiney new facilities and an owner wanting to sell to someone who will invest in the club.

Probably doesn't help that your nickname is 'Reds' and your mascot is a devil.
Hopefully Tomkins has a mare tomorrow and decides never to even think about that game again.

Fack. I'll have to see if it's on iPlayer or whatever.
He did alright for the Barbarians btw, not sure he knew what he was doing though.

Re: Official Rugby League Thread
It's the time of year when everything usually goes a bit quiet. All the teams are in pre-season training I think.
That said you should have got a new shirt out by now in time for xmas...

Still can't believe we won the grand final. Breaking a seat at Old Trafford, Leeds winning, and seeing my Manc supporting mate singing marching on together, good night all round!
