Oh dear.. Heavy rain for Lewis Hamilton today. Crying or Very sad

The final day of Formula 1 testing has been hit by heavy rain at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. The track was drenched by more than 10mm of rain overnight but the drivers put in some tentative laps.

New Pirelli tyres wear off really quickly. Surprised
Michael Shumacher was 5 seconds behind Lewis Hamilton in Testing the other day, he managed to over take him, and gain 5 seconds on him, in 3 laps. Laughing
3-4 pit stops now during races for each drivers aswell. Very Happy

BBC bosses have identified abandoning coverage of Formula One and Wimbledon as one way of saving money to help the broadcaster contend with the frozen licence fee settlement imposed last autumn.

They should have thought about money in the first place when they bought the rights off ITV, Formula 1 is one of the most expensive sports in the world. Formula 1/ Walcotts thread. - Page 10 727917

No ill be too tired. Sleep

Robert Kubica has undergone his fourth operation since crashing on the
first stage of a rally in Italy last month, with the Pole requiring
further treatment on his recovering right elbow. Doctors have been
pleased with the progress Kubica has made to date, although it is still
unknown whether the 26-year-old will be able to make an F1 return.

"It was decided that noteworthy elbow specialist Prof. Luigi
Celli should operate on the elbow to improve its functionality," a
hospital statement read before Kubica's latest surgery was carried out.

"Prof. Celli expressed his satisfaction with what has already
been done and said he will be available Saturday to rehabilitate the
functionality of the elbow. Kubica's condition is otherwise satisfactory
both from a clinical and general point of view."

Vettel by the looks of things, possibly Alonso, or if McLaren sort themself out, Hamilton. Button might be up there if he can manage his tyres and qualify. Dark horses - Shumacher & Rosberg.

According to the BBC F1 team:

Red Bull + Ferrari = are clear at the top.
    McLaren = In a mess.
Mercedes = Were in a mess, however their Barcelona testing was a bit more positive.
Williams = Looked good in longer stints.
    Renault = Strong
    Sauber, Torro Rosso = Average
Force India = Not too quick.
Shitters, Virgin etc = Quicker than last year.

Title is between Vettel and Alonso. Only other person who can mount a challenge is Webber.

McLaren didn't test on the Thursday in Barcelona, apparently because of a huge upgrade.. Surprised

    Qualifying repeat: 1300-1415, BBC One
    Sunday 27 March

Grand Prix repeat: 1300-1500, BBC One

Renault star Robert Kubica is making good progress as he recovers
from injuries sustained in a rally crash in Italy last month. Team
principal Eric Boullier said the Pole is "ahead of schedule on all the
forecasts, whether to do with rehabilitation or recovery. Even if it's
not rosy every day overall, he is maintaining exceptional spirits."

Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi, the only Japanese driver in F1, has spoken of
his worries after a visit to his home country in the wake of the recent
catastrophes. "I must say the situation is really, really bad," he said.
"So many have lost their lives. We need to stay together and we need
help from all over the world. I am worried the whole country could
disappear - it is just too awful."

Im worried about tyres, Lewis isn't very good at handling them.. Whereas Button is.

What a legend. I remember races back in the day where he was a minute ahead of the guy in second place. But that was when Ferrari was a beast car.

Nevertheless Schumi is still a man and a half.
