Sky broadcasting the races is such bullshit. I heard rumors that there will be commercials during the races now... please tell me this is not true.

Re: Formula 1 - 2013 Season
Unlikely ill watch it but Kimi Räikkönen is awesome hope he gets a decent car to leave those youngsters behind, else he just has to drink them under the table after
have a nice tv package where i can watch the race with commentators, or without in regular or HD and then one with car cams which sounds pretty cool, might try that out

They've banged on for ages how it's all live and uninterrupted, as if you'd expect it to be anything other than that.

If you press the red button during a race, you can watching individual cars + other different cameras.

Re: Formula 1 - 2013 Season
I am still here..
This season looks to be a good one, apparently the cars are a bit more even and 20 races (I think)! Vettel will be his usual self, Button looked on it last season, Webber looks fresh, Hamilton is unpredictable and Alonso is always up for! Ill be getting up for qualifying and the race anyway, havn't been this excited for an F1 season since I started watching!
Is that Charizard? I love Kovaleinans helmet, got Angry Birds on it lol.

Nice, good to have you around here then. Hope to see Fernando do well, but it's looking like the 'radical' design of the new Ferrari may backfire on them. Always hard to judge until quali's are said and done though.

Also, I seen this video and really changed my opinion of Hamilton. He gets into trouble a lot on the track, but he's a decent guy though.

The nose. All cars apart from 4 have a nose which dips. Thats the only thing which worries me about the McLarens.. McLaren and some shitty team like Virgin have normal noses.Lux wrote:I remember hearing that McLaren have something different about their car this year to most other's

Yeah. Though I think McLaren were hoping it would be an advantage, I don't think anyone will be sure until a few races have gone by.
Apparently it's not the kind of thing you can change mid season...so it could be important.

I wouldn't worry. I expect McLaren to be strong as always.

mclaren barely did any testing when they had a step nose so if they find out their dipping nose is suck and try to change, their step nose might be just as bad or even worse
their car very underdeveloped same as many teams. i think a lot of teams take a step back this season and expect the diffusor removal will be enough to make cars more competitive and closer to red bull.. i was hoping we coiuld see if this is true in practice 3 but its going to be raining again so we still left in dark until the actual race which making big suspense!
the thing with step nose it will increase wind resistance but it also increase downforce(even though fia proclaim main reasoning for it is for safety). mclaren always had straight line advantage over red bull but struggle with downforce so now they will lose even more in downforce especially without the diffusors this season

I'm going to see about making it to the Austin GP, but I suspect I won't be able to afford to.
