Well if he's Ash, then he can gtfo 'cause he was slating Lallana constantly when he was our best player.

Ash doesn't really stand for anything, to be fair.

I can't quite believe Lallana didn't make an appearance yesterday it literally felt like Hodgson said to himself "Which is the worst side I can pick here?" Vardy criminally underused aswell as Rashford. If we had actually brought along Drinkwater we would've had a better option than donkey Dier.

No I didn't Laughing , I questioned his place in the team originally but he proved me wrong with his performances throughout the tournament.

IMO England's five best players were Milner, Lallana, Clyne, Henderson and Sturridge.

I dream of the day when a team I support will benefit from one of these annoying fairytale stories.

Yeah during that run they also had the Olympiacos game with the Gerrard goal, that worldly by García to beat Juve and that was it-wasn't it goal Vs a very good Chelsea team. A lot of things went for Liverpool during that campaign that were fairy tale-ish.

    Interesting penalty shootout there TBH.

I think Conte intentionally bought on Zaza to miss. He didn't want the label of "penalty shootout tactical genius" to hang over his head like it did with LvG.

Credit to them, their win was reminiscent of Chelsea 2012 or Greece 2004.  Honestly I didn't give them a prayer, tremendous effort from the team.  Nowhere near being the best side at the tournament but that's knockout football for you.

Overall view of the competition, it must be one of the worst there has ever been, certainly it's the worst I've ever watched.
