Wont be easy though, Berdych is tough, great serve and when he's on his game he rips that ball, could easily do something tomorrow.

I've got this tournament down as a Berdych - Federer final on my picks, and I think it could come true, I hope to see Federer v Novak in the semi's should be a great watch, they always produce good quality matches.

Vamos! What a performance from Rafa, Berdych played the best I've ever seen him on clay and Rafa won 6-4, 7-5, amazing performance, clay GOAT.

Ooo, Tsonga had a break point at 5 all in the first set and missed a backhand down the line, Novak held.

Yep, if he plays like he did v Berdych he should honestly win, it's the best I've seen him play in a long while, maybe since 2010, but Ferrer is always tough, and if Rafa has any type of off day it'll be a struggle because Ferrer doesn't give up on points and will make you play the extra shot.

So Novak v Federer in the semi, should be great.. before that IS Rafs v Ferrer though, so I wont enjoy the Novak-Fed match as much if Rafa is out, either way I'm going to predict a Federer win. shifty

Both should be great matches. I'd like to see a Rafa-Fed final, tbh.

I'd like to see it as well as long as Rafa won, because if Rafa lost to Federer on clay in a final so close to the French Open it would fuck his mind, if he loses to Novak, he knows Novak is the best anyway, and if he managed to beat Novak it'd be a confidence boost, like in Monte Carlo.

That said, Rafa still has to get to the final himself. Laughing

Fuck, what a tight first set, 1 hour and 30 minutes for that set, went to the tiebreak and was still so tight until 6-6 in the tiebreak, Ferrer was dominating the point, played a volley drop and Rafa somehow got to it and got a pass off of it, that point was the set basically, Rafa had 50 points, Ferrer 48.. so tight.

Ferrer will take the second set, this will go the distance I feel.

What contrasting sets, Ferrer gave his all in the first and still came out second best, second set to get bageled like that, you've got to feel for him.

7-6, 6-0, Rafa in the final.

Federer is playing like a clown at the moment, hitting stupid unforced errors and his forehand has been awful.

Was looking like an easy Novak win, but Fed saved a match point and broke.

Lets see what that does for his confidence.
