Yeah watched the highlights of qualifying. Seems Sky are trying to get GP2 aswell which is great. I will be setting my alarm again for the GP2 race as F1 Qualy is straight after however I am Sky+ing both incase I cba to get up!Bye_Ya wrote:Anyone watching the GP2 lads today??
Lewis looks on it (again) but looks to have struggled with high fuel.
Raikonnen has also got a 5 place grid penalty for change of gearbox also!

Yeah, exciting stuff. Lewis seems to be tearing it up, but tires and fuel can change everything on Sunday.

Re: Formula 1 - 2013 Season
Ted Kravitz (what a man ) also said in the Drivers Meeting today there was a big debate about the new rule about lapped cars overtaking when the safety car is out.
Qualifying does look good though, look back in 2009 the qualifying http://www.formula1.com/results/season/2009/806/6608/

Valsecchi down to 4th from pole with a disastrous start. Gutierrez is tearing it up though!

GP2 Results - Malaysia - Race 1 1. Razia 2. Valsecchi 3. Chilton 4. Leimer 5. Coletti 6. Nasr 7. Gutierrez 8. Calado Razia, Nasr and Gutierrez were standouts to me. Gutierrez had a fantastic race going until his mistake running off into the grass on pit entry. Nasr was very impressive in his debut scoring 6th place points. Unlucky for Cecotto leaving the pits with his right rear unbolted. Looking forward to seeing what Nasr can do from the front of the grid in race 2. | |

Lewis has done it again! Fucked up in the final corner aswell, lets see if he can hold it 2moro going into turn 1! Can see Button winning it though, he's too good with his tyres.

Also if Lewis has wheelspin like in Australia, I hope he moves across and defends from Button. Vettel used to do it and it would be interesting to see if Lewis got a penalty for it.

Thing about this race with the long distance till the first corner.....if you try and put Button off then Schumacher will come round the other side....Mercedes has good straight line speed

Hamilton is 2 places ahead of Shumacher though, the McLaren isn't that slow.
GP2 1st race, the bloke in 1st had a shocking start.

Re: Formula 1 - 2013 Season
Damn, this year is awesome so far. Apparently the Red Bull has been treating the hard tires very well and they think Seb will challenge the leaders through pit strategy. Schumi starting 3rd... we know what kind of fantastic starts he's capable of, and if that happens he ain't gonna play nice with the front runners (like with Hamilton last year at Monza). McLarens looking championship-strong this year.

Starts at 4 AN here which is brutal, I will have to watch the replay later in the day. The forecast calls for rain which would make things very interesting. Almost all of the practice this week was in dry weather conditions.

Likely one of the few races where they prefer the rain, they are more or less boiling in their cars cause of the heat, least vettel wasn't too happy last i saw. Im going to bed though been up all night for no reason and gotta be up for Ajax match later :X

Yep, and when it stops raining it dries real quick. Will be very interesting for pit strategy on inters. Let's do this.

grosjean retires again what a shame. but funny how he blame schumacher when on the video replay it shows grosjean understeering into schumi
these races have been excited but its disapointing that the top 4 teams+ alonso cant finish a race together ever, it would be amazing and competitive
weather is terrible

Perez Terrific race by him. Happy Alonso won it, want him to win the championship if Button doesn't.
