Here's an updated version of my Serie A team. Changed a few players, but most notably I caved and bought Ibra.

I bought Heskey this afternoon.

I always knew my post count would contribute to something meaningful. Gratitude, Zzonked. Joining Playmaker FC anytime soon, I might ask?

LW, but convert him to LM and he'll fit nicely into the left CAM. Cuts in from the left like no other, right footed as well.

I bought him, seems pretty good. Won my first game with him 6-2.

I've started playing with a new technique in UT. Do tons of short, seemingly aimless, passes. Don't try and get it forward and create, just keep trying to keep the ball and wait. Usually it draws an opposition defender out pretty quickly and can send a killer ball through and score. It's pretty good for disguising when you've told a player to make a run too, because they're never sure if it's a normal pass or a 1-2 pass. For some reason this seems to work better than my normal tactic.

I've been playing like that for ages. Get alot of hate mail for playing like that though because if they are good, they'll have 9 players behind the ball and wont let you tease their players out of position.

Yeah I'd bet you get a lot of hate playing that way, the whole tactic is based around frustrating the opposition until they fuck up.

And as James said, doubt it would be too effective against competent opponents.

Looks quite nicely improved actually. Probably even more of a beast.

Those are some really nice stats, but I wont ever spend that much on one player. If I got him out of a pack I'd keep him though.

I can pray it drops significantly, because I only have 170k and been off trading for some time.

I may get some more cheap chinese MSP and open packs in the hope that I get him in one.
