Is it worth saving my points for the TOTY or spend them now ( or maybe when the next team of the week comes out because this week is awful )

The chances of you pulling a Team of the Year player are minimal, to say the least. I'm also pretty sure that they decrease the likelihood of pulling high end regular players during the time when the TOTY is available in packs. Unless you have a gigantic amount of points, I'd just wait until there was a great Team of the Week and spend them all during that week.

Is it worth spending 50,000 on a Rare players pack? I have 150,000.

No. The chances of you making profit are very slim.

Re: FIFA 12 Ultimate Team
Fair enough. Just saw some videos and they are shit. All I want is someone to build me 2 teams because I'm rubbish. I'd give 5,000-10,000 to whoever makes me 2 great teams with a budget of 70K-75K per team. I'm looking for La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Premier League or Ligue 1. No Manchester United or Chelsea players though.

That's handy. Already got Krasic, Abate and Navas. I'll have a look at these players and the ones Mason recommended in the morning.Beowulf wrote:coolhead33 wrote:Fair enough. Re: FIFA 12 Ultimate Team
Trust me, as a strike force bar Ibra you cannot go better than Cavani and Pato in Serie A. Perhaps Di Natale if you're a skillsy person.

I got Ibra from a free pack and sold him. I don't use skills often but like to have the option. I also like players who can finesse well.Beowulf wrote:Trust me, as a strike force bar Ibra you cannot go better than Cavani and Pato in Serie A. Perhaps Di Natale if you're a skillsy person.
I'm off now so I'll check back in the morning. Thanks for your help guys. I've asked a couple of times without an answer.

Re: FIFA 12 Ultimate Team
I bought one and got Terry and Young (4-1-2-1-2) worth about 60k on their own. Plus another 10 odd players worth around 1k each. I've talked to a few guys and everyone I've talked to has made profit on them.coolhead33 wrote:Is it worth spending 50,000 on a Rare players pack? I have 150,000.

Re: FIFA 12 Ultimate Team
So I am still kinda new to this Ultimate Team stuff.
I get that building a team with proper chemistry means more than anything... but what kind of team should I be getting? I've heard that chemistry is attained by having a team with players at (in order of preference) the same club, then league then nation.
Is it a big difference between the 3? Say I wanted to build a team with Bundesliga defenders and German Attackers, how would players like Ozil be chemistry wise with the likes of Hummels, Boateng, Rafinha and Lahm?
Is there any place that explains this kind of thing in detail?

Chemistry links are only between the players that play next to each other. Say you play 4-1-2-1-2 and you have Özil playing as CAM. The measure of his chemistry in the team is through his links with the players next to him in the two ST roles and the LM and RM roles. So if you have Subotic as a CB but Özil as a CAM, there won't be any lose in chemistry because there are no direct links between them.
Also, chemistry can be made stronger by having players in the correct formation.

Re: FIFA 12 Ultimate Team
Thanks.
Is there a big difference between the chemistry of two players sharing a club a league or nationality?(IE would Gerrard and Lampard share more chemistry than Ozil and Gotze?) Is the difference noticeable? Also is the chemistry cumulative? (IE, Xavi and Iniesta sharing club, league and nation, would share more chemistry then say Iniesta and Messi who only share club and league?)

I'm pretty sure that the link between players of the same club is the strongest, and then the other two are equal. It isn't cumulative, no. Messi and Iniesta share the same chemistry as Xavi and Iniesta do. You also don't have to try to strengthen the links as much as possible. Once your chemistry is at 100, that's good enough. Also, don't forget to buy a manager who is of the same nationality as the one that is most prominent within your team and also one who sports the correct formation.

Indeed it is.
My right side of the XI is from Striker to Keeper is now: Lewandowski, Blaszczykowski, Piszczek, Fabianski.
Quite smexy.
Also can anyone else delete their posts in this forum? Cause I can.. Must be a remnant of when I was mod of these sections..
