Morally, Bush should be arrested for war crimes. The question is a legal one though. Does Canada have authority to arrest and put Bush in court or does the authority have to come from the ICC?

It's not because "of what some marine might have done". Bush ADMITTED the AUTHORIZATION of use of torture. If Obama did the same, he deserves to be arrested and tried as well. We don't think he is special for being democratic or black. Hopefully you can be fair when it comes to Republicans as well.

I would even argue that the authorization to kill Osama Bin Laden and dump him in the sea was illegal.

Taser Bush at the airport, then bring him in for waterboarding.

So by your guys' logic then, does the USA and/or Saudi Arabia have the authority to arrest Khomeini and Ahmadinejad for the failed assassination attempt on the life of Saudi Arabia's ambassador to America, on American soil?

If those leaders ordered the assassination attempts, they should be tried. Does the USA or Saudi Arabia have the authority to arrest them? That's the whole point I've been making with the Canada situation. Does Canada have the right or does it have to come from the ICC?

I do not know the specificity of what Canada is trying to say. Why would Canada arrest him? We did nothing to harm Canadians.

As far as the ICC goes, it's basically a joke. Both countries hypothetically involved have to agree to go by what the judge says, and even afterwards they can just say "we dont like that" and not follow it and claim soveirgnty.
