Gordon reblogged a I love my beard picture that reminded me of yesterday.

Around here it's common to get at risked kids in some sort of college program trying to sell you newspaper subscriptions to raise money for college. Yesteday these kids knock on my door, we do the usual song and dance that ends up with me offering them a donation instead of buying some shitty newspaper(usually the LA Times), well actually that's a lie, this time we ended up subscribing to the newspaper because after about half of the conversation I got bored and sent my mom over, and she's a bleeding heart so she bough a subscription she later plans to cancel and by later I mean like today.

Anyhow back to the story, see before opening the door I was helping my younger sibling with his homework while eating Chinese take away. See I have a beard, and for you fellow men of character who don beards you know that sometimes if you are not careful you get food stuck in your beard. So I pretty much had this conversation with this dude with small piece of chow mein stuck in my beard.

What's even worse later that afternoon my aunt's moderately attractive friend who's had a taste of the BMW if I might add. also came over for a bit and I greeted her in with a small piece of egg yolk in my beard.

Fuck my life.

It's just a small sacrifice I have to make if I want to be this manly and awesome.

Speaking of awesome, tomorrow I leave on a four day road trip South of the Border, our destination should only really take two days on the road but since we are awesome we are taking a scenic route and going to stop at a few dive bars on the way and do other thing awesome people do.

See if I didn't have a beard I would just be taking a trip but since I do have a beard I can say I'm off on an adventure, so I can call myself an adventurer.

Aside from my stache, I just don't have anything growing on my face, not even pubic hair like ones....

Some of my uncles on my mothers side are still unable to grow a beard and their in their 40's... My dad can grow a beard now, but that is also a rather recent revelation. When I was a small child he was also hairless.
