If Chelsea hadn't paid such a ridiculous amount for him, would he still be in this mess? Scoring a goal today should've got the monkey off his back but the pressure STILL gets to him.

And none of this "he's been playing well" malarkey - strikers are bought to score goals. Something which Torres can't seem to do.

If he stayed at Liverpool he'd have coped better.

He was pretty great today. Brilliant goal dinked over De Gea. Can't believe he missed two sitters though.

Even though he scored one, he choked big time with that 2nd opportunity. The pressure still gets to him.

And it's not just about today - he still should've scored more than two goals since January.
