What a lot of talent promoted from Barcelona B to the main team this summer? I ask because it looks that Barca B is having a rough team this year in the segunda division this year, currently 1-1-3 and in 17th place (22 team league).

Only fontas and thiago, dont think either played uch for the B team last year anyway, I think a few of the mre experienced guys where sold or released though, as well as younger players like deulofeu, grimaldo and rafa alcantara getting more time

They did lose a few key players from last season though so of course they would get a bit weaker, not to mention losing their coach. They lost a bit of chemistry but I think just as Brad said there will be a few getting promoted from the Juvenil A.

Also why was Barcelona C discontinued a few years ago? I know that Atlético and Real Madrid still have C teams and for a decent while Barcelona had one as well.

Thiago is great, not disputing that at all. He's played with better players and has had more game time so far. Isco was head and shoulders above most at u-19 level and now is standing head and shoulders above most at under-21 level.
