That save for Llorente's header during the second half was outstanding.
Two horse race - Betis and Valencia.

Here we go, jumping on the bandwagon.
Little Barcelona nowhere to be seen in the top two....

Normal service resumed on Wednesday. Maravilla will score.

We will see, should be a good game though, not even going to try and guess Valencia's line-up, will miss Topal though but the defense has improved greatly with the new signings. Rami and Ruíz.

Hard to call. I'll wait and see the line-ups before posting any expert analysis.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Basically if Busquets is defending midfield and Puyol is centre back I'll predict a Barcelona win.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Piatti is a big player, his movement around Goldado is key and could cause Puyol problems. Hard to make too many predictions of style of play when you know Emery is picking the team though.

I wonder what the English media would make of Emery.

Re: La Liga 11/12
He would need to meet up with Roy Hodgson for some tips of how to keep them onside.
Was impressed with Atlético also tonight. Villarreal are struggling and again could have the lack of depth issue just like last season.
Jamie what have you thought of Coentrão so far?
And thanks, I came up with it earlier it's because he scores goals and the second part of his first name is "dado".

Valencia vs Barcelona is the match we're talking about but there's a full set of midweek fixtures.

Didn't see Atlético game but good to hear.
Coentrão - Haven't been impressed. I'm not really sure which position he's been bought for but so far all I've really liked is his energy and committment, he's basically been playing as a workhorse.
Don't know what he was like at Benfica but he's started slowly for me. Maybe he was good in the Champions League, didn't watch Madrid.
Agree or disagree?
