His main problem is his predictability. If he was more skillful, he'd be able to do a lot more but I don't think he's ever done a skill in a match..

. Bale still manages to get by players without any skill, but by thinking which Walcott doesn't do. Walcott's probably the easiest attacker to get the ball off of.

Depends what kind of player you are. If you're technically gifted and quick then it's not a massive factor, but if you're a Walcott/Bale, then it's a factor.

Sagna and Szczesny against Bale at WHL last season not worthy

Sagna had him in his back pocket all night long.

On topic,it'll be a tough game which we can hopefully win,will be a test of how we defend aerial balls/set pieces.

But Walcott has never been known for his powerful runs unlike Bale, It's his lightning quick pace which frightens the opposition. As of lately he's only shown that once this season against Udinese.

Thing about Walcott is,if your disciplined as a full back and have a bit of pace yourself your sorted most of the time,look at Enrique against us,kept Walcott quiet all game. He can be dangerous if he gets in behind an ill disciplined full back or drifts inside a bit but on the wing when he gets the ball against a decent full back you don't really expect him to do much with it.

I really want to see him upfront one day but i'm not sure he is ready for that yet.
