Who is a better player? I would say the answer is Lucas, he has grown into a key player for Liverpool, whereas Gerrard is a peripheral figure who is always injured. More importantly, Gerrard lacks passing ability and discipline, things which Leiva has in spades, Gerrard is also losing his pace, and has never had the ability to control a game like a player like Scholes, Alonso, Carrick or Leiva. Who is the superior player today?

Gerrard is past it. Pathetic shadow of the player he used to be (even then, he wasn't that great). Lucas is the most un-Brazilian Brazilian player ever. Only passes sideways, he's like a crab.
I'd rather have Darren Gibson in the team than have to watch these two waste of space footballers disgrace the pitch.
