Re: FIFA 12
What is so important about overall ratings?
why aren't you guys more interested in the actual attributes - dribbling, passing, speed, acceleration, etc. ?
do overall ratings even have an impact in-game and how are they even calculated?

Can't believe how much you Liverpool fans over-rate Suarez. OK he's had a good few months of form, but that doesn't mean he's better than the likes of Torres and Nani. Lets not forget, Torres scored more goals for Liverpool than Suarez did last season.

Kyro's not a liverpool fan.
Suarez is more than just about scoring goals, we've all heard it before.
Torres was in our team longer that season.
He is better than Torres.
Shut up Jamie. I'll have none of your sarcasm.
And Torres does have good stats, that's why I'm disputing him being an 86.

On the bright side, VDV will be ineffective as his IF on UT was shite. Bale on the other hand..

Oh.. but Torres was there under the 'disastrous Hodgson era' which you all like to think never happened and still scored more.

I'm not so sure about that first point. If Torres had stayed at Liverpool, and Chelsea had signed Suarez last summer, and he'd played the way he has, there'd be no fucking chance in hell that you guys would be criticising their comparative ratings. It would be all 'Torres is proven, Suarez had a few good months'. Speaking of which, I've hardly heard any criticism from you guys over Steven Gerrard's rating being too high, and he's been worse than Torres over the last 2 years, yet somehow he gets a higher rating than him. By the same logic that you guys are using re: Torres Vs. Suarez, Gerrard should be lower rated than the likes of Lucas, Meireles, Adam, Lampard, Carrick, Giggs et al, somehow that's never mentioned though. If he was ranked better than Xavi and Iniesta (which he often is by the way) you guys would have no complaints about that.

Just because he isn't performing amazingly doesn't mean he doesn't deserve support.
It's quite ironic you say that actually, because in January Liverpool fans were telling us that if he didn't perform well we'd turn on him and cast him aside..

You jump on anything that's said about Torres under performing making excuse after excuse.

Even though that's a shabby rating, he usually performs well on the pitch for someone with a low rating.Anderson=Class wrote:Anderson's 76

Pretty sure if I went around dissing Suarez I'd get a lot of people jumping on me.

Yes anderson was one of my favorite players on Fifa 11, got him in my first pack on ultimate team and never sold him, always performed and had great passing/shot/skills/pace. all round solid midfielder.
he deserved an 80/81 imo

Thing is, I did say Gerrard is overrated if he is to be a 87. The problem is you naturally get ahead of yourself and rate him a 76. I just can't bother arguing if you are intent on going to the extreme.
Luke, shut up.

If you had reason to fair enough, Torres at this time deserves his criticism.
