Then you're just creating new laws. In civilized societies (which England is admittedly teetering on the balance of. But as of now, still qualifies), you can't be jailed or criminally punished for your speech unless your speech intentionally incites violence or chaos, defrauds somebody out of their property or is defamatory. You can be civilly punished for your speech if it is intentionally harmful to another, and that should be the venue for this. Let the family members who may be hurt by this bring a civil claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress (btw, even that's not going to work. These words are not contemporaneous to the event of the girl's death). So in sum, you get to say shit like this in a civilized society without legal penalty. Societal penalty, however, is freely administered. Just let the douche bag be a pariah.

I don't know if it's ever been pointed out to you, but the legal system in the UK is slightly more flexible when it comes to freedom of speech than it's US equivalent, owing largely to the lack of a codified constitution.

Yes, well aware of that. There are exceptions such as "insulting" speech but from the cases I have seen from the UK, it would have to be very extreme. But yes, have to agree with you. The United States has the most healthy notion of free speech on the planet, but even here, it's not entirely healthy.
