Was alright going forward against Benfica, both fullbacks left alot of space behind that night though.

Typical INGERLAND mentality that when you have the ball, you always have to pass forwards and risk losing the ball, when you can do the simple stuff and keep possession. Rolling Eyes

To be fair the whole point of passing it to carrick was to relive the defence of some very intense pressure, and all he did was pass it back which didn't really help anyone.

Exactly, Evans had just got past Mata and then Carrick puts them in the exact same position.

Away to Stoke will be tough, hopefully we have either Welbeck or Hernandez for that.

Welbeck back in training is a good sign, hopefully not far away from playing now.

We'll have to wait and see what the problem is with Hernandez, please nothing serious.

It could have been alot worse tbh, if Cole had caught him cleanly. Id say he'll be good to go for Stoke.

Think we'll go for a strong side midweek. Quite a few players need some match fitness so I'd expect to see Owen, Park, Giggs, Berbatov and Valencia starting.

Fabio might get a run out too, and Lindegaard is starting. No matter what team it is, should be well capable of beating Leeds.
