He tripped him up, Messi's left leg is in between that guys and he's pushing into him. The point is.. Messi is not incredibly strong, he's incredibly agile and has great balance, Lassana Diarra is a very small man and just smashed him. I'd say strength in football is when you can run with the ball and when a guy comes in from the side hold him off or when you have your back to a defender and can hold them from knocking you over.
