I didn't put Rooney because I couldn't afford him this week and I would have had to lower the quality of my other positions for the sake of Rooney and this would have cost me dearly as it requires four points for a substitution. There will be plenty of people who put him on the first week and haven't changed him since and will get lucky without much knowledge of football.

What are you on about? You should have used your football knowledge to put him as captain, because it'll be worth losing those points due to the form he's in. It's you're fault, got nothing to do with anyone else
