The German national team is the only one that can compete with Spain.
France have the potential to, Holland too if they they have a fit squad.
Other than that the rest are shit.

Agreed the only European team that could compete with them are ze Germs. Maybe Italy too but they need to sort their shit out. Same with France. The Bat-Man wrote:The German national team is the only one that can compete with Spain.

Doubt Per will play, Hummels and Badstuber seem to be the starting CBs

Per was injured for the last game if that's what you're referring too. Not sure who'll start now though.

They already have a beast of a left back in Marcel Schmelzer
Kinda surprised if Mertesacker isn't a starting cb. He was their best defender at the wc. Oh well can't complain tbh less injury's for us

Well since Lahm plays LB for Bayern now again, Löw plays him at LB for Germany as well. Bit harsh on Schmelzer
Höwedes will probably play RB. What I've read is that Löw is using a 'Bayern-Block', many players of Bayern playing in the NT; something Germany have traditionally, that's why Badstuber might looks like a starting CB even though I don't rate him.
Will be interesting if they start Götze, in Germany they're already talking about 'Götzil', the Özil-Götze partnership even though they were hardly on the pitch together yet

So this has started, Mertesacker is on the bench, Hummels and Badstuer at CB, Höwedes at RB and Lahm LB.
No Götze yet, they're using Müller, Poldi, Özil and Klose as the offensive players like at the WC. Schweini and Kroos CMs.
It's 1-0 to Germany, Özil took it volley from outside the box, Klose seemed to get a small touch on the ball but in the replay it looked like he tried to avoid the ball. Klose still celebrated like mad Was clearly Özil's goal but will probably go to Klose, he's eying the German NT record of Gerd Müller.

fantastic goal
Fuck, I hate Germany's NT by default but they're entertaining as hell.

Germany has so many young attacking players that can be counted on already. It's unfair to the rest of us
