ok so i was instructed to not make a thread like this until we have seen them both play enough and i think we already just seen enough

who is better signing downing for 20m or mata for 23m

dalglish, i truely belive he made yet another one of many mistakes in his judgement

Downing has played really well for us, nearly scoring a couple of times. One of the shots thundered upon the crossbar.

Mata scored against a newly promoted side with 10 men. Whoop-dee-doo.

Mata probably didn't want to join Liverpool, nothing to do with Dalglish tbh.

Downing has done alright. Daglish basically bought him so that Carroll could be effective and not the bust he is destined to be. Silly Kenny.

Anyone who has seen Mata before will say him. Except for Liverpool fans because we know most have problems being neutral.

Downing has been better than I expected but regardless of that Mata is a MUCH better player. Anyone who denies this is a deluded Liverpool fan or deluded English man with missing teeth.

Dalglish has overpaid for most of his signings. Suarez seems to be the only one who's proved to be value for money.
