Sir Alex ends BBC boycott. Empty Sir Alex ends BBC boycott.

Post by Drake Thu Aug 25, 2011 9:29 pm

Sir Alex Ferguson and the BBC have decided to put behind them the difficulties which led to Sir Alex feeling unable to appear on BBC programmes.

This follows a meeting between Sir Alex and the BBC’s director general, Mark Thompson, and BBC North director Peter Salmon, and the issues have been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.

Sir Alex will now make himself available to the BBC for Match of the Day, Radio 5 Live and other outlets as agreed.

No further comment will be made by either party on this issue.

I hate how Fergie and his son just swap deals around all the time, should be something against it for a player like Ajose to go to Peterborough for 200k i think is ridiculous it would have cost us double to get him!

The worst was when Darren Ferguson got sacked as Preston boss and he had United players on loan while he was there so after he got sacked Fergie took them back and pretty much left Preston in the shit. Neutral

Nothing wrong with that, what did they expect? They only had the players because their manager was Ferguson, why would they be able to keep them after they sacked him?

It shouldn't be like that pal as Preston and United have had many loans for years and just because his son gets sacked it shouldn't matter as the players will no doubt get some much needed experience still.

You're right, it shouldn't be like that, Preston shouldn't get players because of who the manager's dad is, much less who the former manager's dad is. Preston and United haven't had a lot of loans for a long time now, and the players only missed one or two games.

Mr Ferguson will now make himself available to the BBC for Match of the Day, Radio 5 Live and other outlets as agreed.

Unless United get battered by Liverpool again. Then the drunken tramp will do his usual tail between the legs.

He did an interview when you battered us 4-1. When various Liverpool managers come out after we beat you it's normally to bitch about referees. Mascherano got a yellow card for dissent - conspiracy! O'Shea didn't get sent off when Torres dived - conspiracy! Agger fouled Berbatov in the box - Conspiracy! Mascherano fouled Valencia 30 mm outside of the box - conspiracy!
