Re: PES 12 demo
Love PES, pace of the game is much more realistic, also Master League is better than CM. I also love editing shit, I can spend hours just changing players hairs or creating kits.

1st demo releases tomorrow. 2nd demo releases september. after playing the 1st demo, i could understand why. there are lot of big changes in pes 2012 and i guess konami wants to gradually introduce them to us. theyre spoiling us...
i'm still trying to master the 2nd player controls. pretty awkward to do. you control the 1st player with the LS or DPAD, while controlling the 2nd player with the RS while clicking down on it

Re: PES 12 demo
I've only ever liked PES6 but it can't compare with FIFA at the moment but I might still try out the demo.

Re: PES 12 demo
Master League needs tweaking. It's so annoying when fake teams are promoted.
It could potentially be amazing, but it's missing too much. If Konami had the luxuries EA had, i.e licencing, more leagues, lower leagues etc. They'd make more use out of them.
They did so well with their Champions League licence.

get custom patches/mods with serie B, championship, etc. they're available for PC and consoles for free
another option you can rearrange the club/league structure so that random euro teams will be in the 2nd division: galatasaray, cska moscow, olympiakos, etc.

not better, not worse, just different. pitch is bigger so it seems easier to keep possession, but harder to press the opposition. you also have to press wisely because there's a lot of space for attackers to use now. so if you double up on somebody like ibrah, he'll just dribble into more vacant space you're leaving behind. but the catch up bug is gone and long through balls finally work. so defending is harder but more fair. wouldnt say attacking is easier, but you do have more options now
the AI zonal marking actually does work, and it's pretty cool too. if you try to manually control a player during a corner, you'll see that your "man" marker changes as you move around the PK box. pretty cool. for me, this was probably the most impressive and fascinating aspect of pes 2012 so far
i like the new controls, but i hate the new screen layout. but eventually i'll get used to it, it's just aesthetics
i only played 4 games so far and i'm pretty satisfied so far. looking forward to the next demo

Is it out on consoles yet or do we have to wait until 5-6pm?

Okay it looks like the PES 2012 is out on PC and PS3, but 360 gamers have to wait till September.

why not just download the demo on PC then? the same one you're using now? the spec. requirements arent that high, and you can tune the graphics down to low/medium
just get a cheapo xbox 360 adapter for PC online for like €15m

Demo is fucking shit. Horrible game play and player physics. Fifa it is.
