They played their best football when coincidentally City was playing their worst football, which was at the very start of both teams' first PL game. From about 20' onward it was just Swansea sitting back and letting wave after wave of offensive barrages hit them.
Despite playing some nice one-touch football in the first part of the game, they still only managed a single attempt in the first half, and really did not look threatening.
Then again, their entire payroll is something like 14M, and they were playing easily the strongest squad in the PL. I think their upcoming home games will really show their true colors. Today against City they looked a side to be relegated, but at home against the likes of Sunderland and Wigan they will be able to play a bit more of their style of football.
