Yeah, it was unreal how many of those goals have come in the past two years. I was noticing the same thing as well -- when he had like 20 at the beginning of 2007.

Although if you graph his goals I am sure the numbers seem to be heading towards ∞.

The season is now over in Estonia and that dude who scored a massive amounts of goals finished with a total of 46 goals. Messi then would need at least 23 goals in La Liga to tie him and 24 to beat him towards the Golden Shoe award. I do not see that as being a real issue since he is at top form.
